YEREVAN. – A telephone conversation took place between the secretaries of the Armenian and Russian Security Councils, Armen Grigoryan and Nikolay Patrushev, the press service of the Security Council of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The key topic of this phone talk was the current situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. The parties exchanged respective views and discussed possible solutions to this matter.

Presenting the situation, Grigoryan stressed that Armenia views this as Azerbaijan's encroachment on the sovereign territory of Armenia, this is unacceptable for the latter, and therefore the Azerbaijani armed units must leave these territories and return to their own positions.
