Former Prime Minister of Armenia Khosrov Harutyunyan was released from the police station, as reported his lawyer Davit Avagyan.

“Khosrov Harutyunyan was attending a meeting at Freedom Square today. During the meeting, a citizen made a provocation, behaved indecently and used swear words. Khosrov Harutyunyan tried to calm the citizen down, after which the citizen hit Harutyunyan. The police calmed them down and apprehended them,” the lawyer said.

The lawyer added that representatives of the Office of the Human Rights Defender are currently talking to Harutyunyan at the police station.
