The criminal case against Mkhitar Zakaryan, an MP of the "Armenia" Faction in the National Assembly, has gone to court. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned about this from the Judicial Information System.

Zakaryan, as well as two others—Armen Samvelyan and Artavazd Arzumanyan—are defendants in this case.

Mkhitar Zakaryan, who used to serve as the mayor of Meghri city, has been charged with abuse of office.

On July 13, Zakaryan was remanded in custody for two months.
