Azerbaijan has nominated the occupied Armenian city of Shushi for the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2023.
Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Anar Kerimov tweeted that he had submitted the proposal during the 38th ministerial meeting of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) in Khiva, Uzbekistan.
