The Catholicos of All Armenians, Karekin II, on Monday presided over a requiem service at the Saint Gayane Church in Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin), Armenia,—and for the peace of the souls of the Armenian homeland defenders who have fallen in the 44-day Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war last fall.
Congregants and employees of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, benefactors, politicians and public figures, as well the teachers and students of Eurnekian School attended the ceremony.
