Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Lynne Tracy, Minister of Justice Karen Andreasyan, Deputy Chief of Police Ara Fidanyan, as well as representatives of the regional and municipal authorities of Shirak Province and the city of Gyumri today paid a visit to the police division in Gyumri.

As reported the Police of Armenia, the guests, accompanied by Ara Fidanyan, toured the premises, were introduced to the site of deployment of the unit and operational management center of the patrol service to be established in the province in 2022 and discussed issues related to improvement of working conditions.

During a working consultation held at the police division, Deputy Prime Minister Grigoryan and Ambassador Tracy discussed the course of implementation of the activities for functioning of the unit. Grigoryan highly appreciated the current activities and attached importance to the close cooperation with the US Embassy.

The attendees also touched upon the achievements and flaws of the Patrol Service, which has been operating in Yerevan for a few months already.
