Armenian President Armen Sarkissian sent a congratulatory message to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of his birthday.
"Armenia highly values you and your considerable contribution to the development of cooperation between our countries and the maintenance of peace and stability in the region.
"I am confident that the allied relations, which are based on the centuries-old brotherhood and mutual trust of our peoples and are aimed at the future, will continue to contribute to the advancement of the bilateral agenda and the practical realization of the potential for cooperation," reads the message by the Armenian President.
