As of Monday, a total of 7,939 people were brought to the internal affairs bodies of Kazakhstan, according to the operative headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.
In the former capital Almaty, the police—together with the National Guard and special detachments —apprehended 207 people at two markets.
In addition, five stolen cars as well as stolen goods were confiscated.
