Apple intends to introduce and release a record number of new products in 2022 - most of the gadgets will be presented this fall, Bloomberg journalist and analyst Mark Gurman revealed.

He said Apple is deliberately delaying the release of many new devices until later in the year to keep its financial performance strong for the fiscal quarter, which includes the New Year holidays.

"Apple is working on a number of new products set to launch this fall, and it will be the largest batch of new devices Apple has introduced in its history," Gurman said.

The analyst said the major release of the fall will be the flagship iPhone 14 series. In addition to smartphones, the company from Cupertino will present updated AirPods Pro, a series of low-cost iPad and a new generation of iPad Pro.

Also at the event will be shown a new generation of smart watches Apple Watch, updated MacBook Air and more affordable version of the MacBook Pro. Apple is not going to overlook stationary computers too - iMac and Mac Pro, based on Apple's own processors, will be presented.
