Austrian Minister for European and Foreign Affairs Alexander Schallenberg criticized the decision of a number of Western countries to withdraw their embassy personnel from Ukraine amid reports of a threat of Russian invasion, DW reported.

The Austrian Foreign Minister supported Germany in the issue of refusing to supply weapons to Ukraine. As for Austria, its position is such that the supply of weapons is out of the question, Schallenberg noted.

Schallenberg added that Europe should not belittle itself.

He also slammed the words of US President Joe Biden, who spoke about the danger of a world war in connection with the crisis over Ukraine.
