Ankara Prosecutor General's Office has launched an investigation against an MP from the opposition People's Republican Party for his 24 April statement.
Sezgin Tanrıkulu wrote on his Twitter account that 107 years ago, on 24 April, hundreds of Armenian intellectuals were arrested and sentenced to death and it is time to confront history, Hurriyet reported.
