On May 27, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin.

During the meeting, Pashinyan noted that the Armenian-Russian allied relations have been dynamic in recent years, adding that the contribution of the Russian embassy in Armenia is also very large. According to him, there are close contacts between the partners of the two countries, which is important for giving a new impetus to interaction. At the same time, the head of the RA government mentioned the importance of periodic meetings with the ambassadors of the co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk Group and this format in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

In turn, Kopyrkin thanked Pashinyan for appreciating the activities of the embassy, stressing that their goal is to do everything possible for the further development of bilateral allied and fraternal relations.

The sides discussed issues related to the agenda of the Armenian-Russian cooperation, the settlement of the Karabakh conflict and the processes taking place in the South Caucasus region.
