Ukraine also turned to India with a proposal to become one of the guarantors of the country's post-war security, along with some other countries, reports The Hindu, citing diplomatic sources.

To date, the total amount of aid from India from both public and private companies is about 230 tons. In addition, a large amount of assistance was provided by pharmaceutical companies, which are headquartered in India but have offices in Ukraine and Eastern Europe, the source said, adding that this is a separate assistance amounting to about $ 7-8 million.

Sources of the publication also said that in 2022, Ukraine's GDP could fall by 30-50%, and inflation could reach 20%. The monthly deficit caused by the conflict is almost $5 billion, and as a result of the conflict, up to 30% of Ukraine's infrastructure worth $100 billion has been damaged or destroyed.
