The second meeting of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border delimitation commission will be held in Moscow soon. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, at the weekly press briefing on Wednesday.

"The recurring incidents, problems in some border regions of Azerbaijan and Armenia confirm the urgency and necessity of the coordinated and regular work of the border delimitation commission," Zakharova said, commenting on the recent death of a conscript of the Armenian Armed Forces.

According to Zakharova, Russia is ready to host the second meeting of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border delimitation commission in Moscow in the near future, and this was agreed upon by the parties back on May 24.

"At the same time, it is important to take steps to increase the level of stability and border security—as noted in the statement by the leaders of the three countries; in particular, in the statement of Sochi on November 26, 2021," added the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
