The price of oil by the end of 2023 may fall to $45 per barrel due to lower demand, Bloomberg reported, referring to analysts at the American bank Citigroup.

Analysts have calculated that by the end of 2022 the price of Brent crude oil will decrease to $65 per barrel. This may be due to reduced demand due to a possible recession in the economy. This process may also continue in 2023, when the price of oil will fall to $45 per barrel by the end of the year.

The agency pointed out that oil prices fall with any possible recession or indicators of instability almost to cost. At the same time, the situation with prices will worsen if the OPEC+ countries do not interfere in the processes in the oil market.
