The area of Ivanyan village of Askeran region is one of the largest construction sites in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), the Artsakh Ministry of Urban Development informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Within the framework of large-scale housing construction projects in order to provide housing to persons displaced by the war in the fall of 2020, three districts are currently being built at the same time in the aforesaid rural community.

In addition to the two districts consisting of apartment buildings and houses being built in the area adjacent to the Stepanakert-Askeran motorway, the construction works of another new district consisting of houses have started near the main road Ivanyan.

These works are funded by the government of Artsakh.
