Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said that the architecture of the global security system should be redesigned, according to him, the world is more than five permanent members of the UN Security Council, RIA Novosti reported.

"We believe that the global security architecture should be redesigned based on a new understanding that is fairer and more equitable," Erdogan said at the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia in Astana.

According to him, Turkey has repeatedly stated in recent years that the world is more than five permanent members of the UN Security Council.
