Russian political scientist Yelena Kuzmina said she would not agree that Armenia's economy will be completely swept away when the borders with Turkey are opened, she told journalists on Wednesday.

"In addition to expanding Turkey's capabilities, we need to take into account that Armenia is tied to a significant number of agreements within the EAEU. Besides, there is also Iran, which will have a free trade zone with the EAEU," Kuzmina believes.

A very important aspect of the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, in her opinion, is the possibility of electricity cooperation. "We are talking about transport communications, which are necessary for all the countries of the Caucasus," the expert added.
