NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will hold a North Atlantic Council meeting Wednesday morning on the incident in Poland and will address reporters following the meeting at about 12:30 p.m. Brussels time, according to a statement issued by the bloc's press office.

"On Wednesday, 16 November 2022, the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, will chair a meeting of the North Atlantic Council to address yesterday’s explosion in Eastern Poland, close to the border with Ukraine," the statement said.

Earlier media reported that the NATO council meeting would be held at the level of permanent representatives of the member states.
