NATO Days have started in the Azerbaijani capital Baku on Monday—and under the Individual Partnership Program between Azerbaijan and NATO, Turan reported citing the country's Ministry of Defense.

The NATO delegation is led by Rear Admiral Gunnstein Brusdal, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Allied Forces in Europe.

He was received Monday by Kerim Veliyev, Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

"Bilateral cooperation within the framework of various NATO programs, as well as joint actions in case of existing and possible threats were discussed," it was reported.

Rear Admiral Brusdal emphasized that Azerbaijan is a proven NATO partner, and noted Baku's role in the fight against terrorism and the participation of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in international peacekeeping missions.

To note, thus, NATO once again showed that it intends to continue turning a blind eye to the aggression carried out by Azerbaijan against Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
