In 2022, the supply of cars from China to foreign markets exceeded 2.5 million units. This is reported by Bloomberg. The country ranked third on the list of the largest suppliers of cars.
It is noted that Japan is in first place for the supply of cars in other countries. Germany is on the second place, China is on the third. Fourth and fifth places have South Korea and the United States, respectively.
Chinese cars sell well in the Middle East and Latin America. The European market sells mostly Tesla electric cars made in China, as well as cars of European car brands owned by Chinese companies.
