Armenia attaches great importance to the development of local and union food security systems, said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the session of the Eurasian Economic Union's intergovernmental council.

According to him, the activation of cooperation for creating a system of collective food security of the EAEU member states will increase the efficiency of the use of available resources, restrain inflation, ensure food availability and activate mutual trade in the future.

In order to make the integrated information system of the Union fully operational, the Prime Minister of Armenia pointed to the need to synchronize actions that will allow to form a reliable digital framework to ensure freedom of movement of goods, services, capital and labor.

He called the development of digital economy and implementation of digital technologies an objective necessity for the formation of a common digital space.

"In this context, I note the relevance and demand for tools of the system of interstate exchange of information, and the creation and development of digital projects with an integration effect. Despite the results achieved, we should constantly expand the priorities of the digital agenda," Pashinyan noted.
