The death toll from the powerful earthquake in Turkey has reached 2,921, and 15,834 people have been injured, Anadolu Agency reported, citing the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) of the country.

"The number of casualties of the earthquake in the south of Turkey has reached 2,921, 15,834 people have suffered injuries," the agency said.
