The Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) police published a video of Sunday’s Azerbaijani sabotage attack and announced that this proves that a transfer of weapons—as falsely claimed by the Azerbaijani side—did not take place.

The respective police statement reads as follows:

"The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan disseminated another disinformation today about the sabotage attack of the Azerbaijani armed forces in the area called Khaypalu, trying to justify the fake and false theory that as if it prevented the transfer of weapons from the RA [(Republic of Armenia)] to Artsakh on the personnel of the police vehicle that headed to shift from [Artsakh capital] Stepanakert.

We present the video of the Azerbaijani attack on the personnel of the Police of Artsakh, which has been under a blockade [by Azerbaijan] for 84 days, where the direction of the movement of the vehicle is clearly visible (from Stepanakert to the place of shift—Shushi region), and irrefutably proves the falsity of the claim of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

First, there were no weapons in the vehicle—other than police service weapons. Secondly, weapons could not be transferred, as they were not moving from the RA, but from Stepanakert to the place of their shift.

The video clearly shows also the movement of Azerbaijani servicemen and the episode of how they approach the vehicle, open the door, and shoot again and run away."
