The Armenian side has responded positively to the proposal to open a Russian consulate in Kapan city of Armenia’s Syunik Province. Sputnik Armenia received this information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia.

"The Armenian side had informed the Russian side about its agreement back in April," the Armenian MFA informed.
