US President Joe Biden congratulated Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on his victory in the second round of presidential elections in Turkey.

“I look forward to continuing to work together as NATO Allies on bilateral issues and shared global challenges,” Biden said in a tweet.

Erdogan won Sunday’s presidential runoff in Turkey and was re-elected as the head of state.
