Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo fell off his bike late on Saturday while riding with his son a few hundred meters from his home in Brakel of East Flanders, RTBF reports, citing the PM's office.

Croo hit his head and "lost consciousness for a few seconds". He was taken to the hospital for a series of tests, which did not reveal anything in particular. The Prime Minister will return home in the evening, the Cabinet of Ministers confirms.
