I urge all political figures of Azerbaijan in charge to respect the decision of the international court and immediately open the Lachin corridor. Michael Roth, the Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the German Bundestag (parliament), told this to a press conference in Armenian capital Yerevan on Wednesday.

"This morning I met women who immigrated from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia, who represent various organizations. They expressed their concern about the violence against women, or the violence that happened in Nagorno-Karabakh. The fact that family members can be separated for long periods of time is a gross violation of human rights," Roth said

"The security of Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh should be ensured permanently, and [Armenian] ethnic cleansing should never be allowed to take place in Nagorno-Karabakh," the German MP added.

"We expect that the Armenian prisoners of war being held in [Azerbaijani capital] Baku will be released immediately within the framework of the peace talks, and that as a result of the conclusion of the border delimitation process, the territorial integrity of Armenia will be unconditionally recognized [by Azerbaijan] Roth announced.
