The US is forcing Nagorno-Karabakh to meet with Azerbaijan; and if it refuses, it threatens with antiterrorist action, RIA Novosti reports, citing a diplomatic source in Washington D.C..

Washington forces—in the form of an ultimatum—the representatives of Nagorno-Karabakh to agree to meet with the Azerbaijani side in a third country in the near future. And the objective is the investment of the US in the region, the source said.

According to this source, in case of refusal of such contact, the leadership of Nagorno-Karabakh is threatened with an Azerbaijani "antiterrorist operation" in the region.

The foreign minister of Nagorno-Karabakh, Sergey Ghazaryan, whose interests completely coincide with those of Azerbaijan, is lobbying for this American "peacekeeping initiative," the interlocutor of the aforesaid news agency noted.
