Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, on Tuesday met with Laura Cooper, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia, Ukraine and Eurasia, in the US, Armenian News-NEWS.am learns from the Office of the Security Council of Armenia.
The interlocutors discussed the implementation of Armenian-American education programs in the defense sector, and the process of reforms in the Armenian Armed Forces. In the latter’s context, Grigoryan presented Armenia's efforts towards the democratic management of the Armenian Armed Forces.
The parties addressed also several other matters of bilateral cooperation in the defense sector.
