On August 26, the Ninth Garrison Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia received information that on the same day, according to preliminary data, Shavarsh Akinyan, a soldier of a military unit, had suffered electric shock, then he was transferred to Kapan city hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:55pm.
A criminal investigation has been launched into this incident, the Investigative Committee of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
