During the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 22, Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan met with Yuri Kim, Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' press service, this meeting followed the discussions between the Armenian Foreign Minister and the US Assistant Secretary of State on September 19, as well as the emergency session of the UN Security Council held on September 21. The main focus of their talks was the situation resulting from Azerbaijan's aggression against the people of Nagorno Karabakh.

Additionally, they touched upon the broader security dynamics in the South Caucasus region.
