As of now, 20,270 people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh have crossed the Armenian checkpoint in Kornidzor, Syunik.
2850 of those people were provided with housing by the state. Prime Minister's spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan said during a press conference broadcast live on Tuesday.
"20,270 people have already received registration and their allocation is taking place. The state took care of the housing of 2,850 forcibly displaced persons. In particular, the housing issue of 615 people was resolved in Goris, 169 in Sisian, 171 in Tatev, 324 in Kapan, and 19 in Meghri,” she said.
“In general, 1,298 displaced persons were placed in Syunik region, 532 in Vayots Dzor, 752 in Gegharkunik, 268 in Tavush," Nazeli Baghdasaryan added.
