The Humanitarian Center of the Armenian government worked faster than planned, and instead of the number announced at Thursday's government Cabinet session, a larger number: 29,078 forcibly displaced people from Nagorno Karabakh—of which 14,593 were children—on Friday received the promised 100,000 drams, each. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote about this on Facebook.

"Thus, as of today, the promised 100 thousand drams [each] have been paid to about 80 thousand beneficiaries forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. The [respective] payments to our other sisters and brothers [forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh] will be made simultaneously with their opening [bank] card accounts. Of course, the Humanitarian Center will help everyone to organize this matter as quickly as possible," Pashinyan added.
