The damage caused to the Crocus City Hall concert hall as a result of Friday's terrorist attack is close to 250-300 thousand rubles per square meter, Marat Manasyan, vice-president of the Union of Shopping Centres of Russia, told RIA Novosti.

Thus, with the area of the concert hall at 38 thousand square meters, the amount of damage can be estimated at 9.5-11.4 billion rubles.

"Not less than 200 thousand rubles for one square meter, most likely - closer to 250-300 thousand rubles," Manasyan said.

He emphasized that Crocus City Hall was one of the best concert halls in Moscow, "perfectly equipped".

"Restoration will be needed, including the damaged machinery and concert equipment. Most of what was lost is not supplied to Russia due to sanctions and will need to be imported via parallel imports or replaced with equipment from other manufacturers," the expert said.

He also suggested that restoration work will take at least 8-10 months, "taking into account the engineering and technical complexity of the structure."
