President Vahagn Khachaturian and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met at the presidential residence. The press service of the President reports this.

Welcoming the guest, the President noted. "We highly value our friendly relations, and such high-level visits once again emphasize the importance of these relations between our countries and our peoples.

In fact, our relations are of strategic importance, which is also fixed in the plan of the Government of the Republic of Armenia for 2021-2026.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, the Georgian Prime Minister said. "It is a great honor for me to be here in Armenia today. My visit is a sign that we attach special importance to our relations and friendship. We always emphasize that the friendship formed between our peoples and countries is of a historical nature.

We recently signed a declaration on establishing a strategic partnership, which means that we have been able to take our relations to a higher level, and today it is important to realize all the goals that were included in this declaration.

We are satisfied with the current state of our relations; the dynamics is very positive, but there is always room for their deepening and expansion,՛՛ he said. 

Regional realities and the general situation were discussed during the conversation. In that context, the President of Armenia reaffirmed Armenia's sincere desire to achieve complete and lasting peace in the region.
