There are no deadlines. Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, stated this, speaking with reporters Thursday—and responding to the question of whether there are any deadlines as to when the four Tavush Province villages demanded by Azerbaijan shall be handed over to the latter.

According to Kostanyan, Azerbaijan's accordance to the implementation of the agreements shall be reflected in a written agreement that the border delimitation and demarcation process between the two countries should be carried out on the basis of the Alma Ata declaration of 1991.

"At the moment, there is no certainty regarding border delimitation and demarcation, I cannot give other comments. If there are agreements from both parties, both parties will publicize it," added the Armenian official.

Kostanyan noted that Armenia continues to be engaged in the peace process.

"The process is not stopped; it can be completed if Azerbaijan agrees to specify on paper the agreements that were reached in Brussels in May and June 2023 at the level of the heads of state," emphasized the Armenian deputy FM.
