Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: Although [PM] Nikol Pashinyan did not meet with the [ruling majority] CC [(Civil Contract) faction] MPs after [his meeting in] Brussels [with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken], he did not share his impressions and non-public arrangements with them, as he preferred to spend the weekend with his family, probably news was conveyed (…) to the [CC] team that the about 330 million [euro] support being given to Armenia in total for 4 years is only the tip of the iceberg, deep processes are also underway, arrangements have been made, especially about investments, assistance in the defense sector, which will not be without preconditions.

The thing is that there is a silent dissatisfaction in the CC as well. For months Pashinyan has been feeding them news of going to Europe, that they are eagerly waiting for them in the EU, this is the reason for their harsh policy against the RF [i.e. the Russian Federation], but the Brussels meeting showed something else from which they are angry about at the CC.

Nevertheless, at the CC they say that there is a condition from the West to "cleanse" the [Armenian] government and, first of all, the army, from the Russian influence figures, the military, which Pashinyan may begin to implement in the coming weeks.

In any case, it became known yesterday that the [Armenian] minister of defense has started "strong" pro-Western reforms, one of which is the planned change in the new charter of the army, by which the [Russian] exclamation "urra [(hurray)]" is being replaced by the [Armenian] word "ketstse [(long live)]," as the “urra” form of greeting was left as a legacy still from the Soviet army and was associated with the Russian army.
