The embassy of Iran in Armenia issued a statement expressing sympathy for the victims and material damage caused by the floods.

"The embassy offers its support to the government and people of the friendly Republic of Armenia, especially to the victims of the aforementioned disaster," the statement added.

Floods have occurred in Lori and Tavush Provinces of Armenia Sunday due to heavy rains and flooding of Debed, Aghstev, and Tashir Rivers. As a result, numerous houses, buildings, and structures were flooded, and roads were destroyed. According to the latest data, there are four casualties.
