TBILISI. - Azerbaijan will replace Georgia in transferring NATO shipments to Afghanistan, Medianews agency of Georgia informs.  

“Azerbaijan has replaced our Sky Georgia airline company in transferring cargo from Europe to Afghanistan, for NATO’s coalition forces,” the company’s director Giorgi Kodua announced. In his words, some problems had risen in the Georgian company, and Azerbaijan came to its assistance.  

“At present, the shipments are carried out by planes flying under the Azerbaijani flag, and the commercial profits likewise belong to Azerbaijan. But the Georgian economy is suffering from this,” the company’s director stressed.
