After both reports are confirmed, they will be submitted to European Union head by Herman Van Rompuy, European Commission and EU External Action Service to use in negotiations with those two states around the Agreement.

The Committee on Foreign Affairs positively assessed amnesty in Armenia applied in last May. Besides, the Committee calls on Armenia to ratify agreement on International Criminal Court.

European lawmakers stated that Turkey should stop Armenia’s blockade for the state to register real economic development.

Poreba stressed separately talking on Nagorno-Karabakh that the issue requires attentiveness as the OSCE Minsk Group already deals with it.

“Most important is that the documents to be signed, fully meet international laws. In case of Azerbaijan, it will refer to its whole territory, however, Karabakh is not mentioned in this context at all,” Rikard Jozwiak said in his report on Azerbaijan.

“Armenia registered a certain progress. However, there are still issues to be solved. Armenia’s touchstone will be the upcoming parliamentary elections,” Poreba said in his report on Armenia.
