YEREVAN. – A proposal for eliminating the necessity of seals is introduced for around three-dozen laws in Armenia.

During its session on Thursday, the Government approved the Justice Ministry’s legislative package, and it will be sent for the National assembly’s approval.

According to the Ministry’s report, the current law stipulates that, when filling out a number of documents, the legal entity shall approve them with the organization’s seal, and, in some cases, the seal of approval is left for the discretion of the head of the organization. But pursuant to the Law on the State Registration of Legal Entities, the legal entity is not obligated to have a seal.

And in line with the proposed legislative changes, the legal entity’s obligation to approve a document with a seal shall be removed from all the laws of Armenia.
