France has decided to close its embassy in Syria. The President of France Nicolas Sarkozy said about this during the press conference in Brussels.

He noted that the recent incidents in Syria are alarming and that Homs city can be removed from the earth. Sarkozy also said that the decision to close foreign diplomatic mission had been made jointly with Alain Juppe.
