EU Foreign Ministers have decided to expand the list of sanctions against Syria on March 23.

As EU diplomats reported, the names of the wife of the Syria’s President Asma al-Assad and relatives - including the president’s mother, his sister and daughter are included in the list.

Adding to the sanctions list involves the freezing of their assets and entering their names in the “black list” for trips to the European Union, Interfax reports.
