YEREVAN. – The expected disassembling of kiosks at Armenian capital Yerevan’s Mashtots Park was not carried out on Tuesday afternoon.

The dismantling was scheduled for 1 pm, but the activists’ “disassembling brigade” did not show up. The police officers and the environmentalists at the Park told Armenian News-NEWS.am that they do not know why the dismantling did not occur.

But the brigade’s member, architect Oshin Yeghiazaryan, who arrived at Mashtots Park, noted there will be no disassembling brigade at the Park until 5 pm, and a meeting will be held there after that time.  

The initiative members had released a statement on Monday, and noted that Tuesday, April 3, was the deadline for the proper state agencies to respond to their demands.
