YEREVAN. – Next session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be convened on May 20 in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, according to Hraparak newspaper.

“According to our information, prime ministers of the EAEU [i.e. the Eurasian Economic Union] countries [which are Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan], who will be arriving in Armenia to attend the session, will be accommodated at Pharaon [leisure and entertainment] complex.

“The reason is not only because Pharaon belongs to [oligarch MP] Gagik Tsarukyan, the in-law of [Armenian PM] Hovik Abrahamyan, but, as the MFA assures, it is convenient there, everyone can be accommodated, [and] there is a corresponding [sessions’] hall,” Hraparak wrote.
