YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: As it is known, the topic of Amulsar [gold] mine operation (…) again has become quite active recently.

On this occasion, Past newspaper has learned details, according to which, Western-funded organizations are trying to get a certain role in the ongoing protests over the operation of the Amulsar mine.

According to our source, the so-called Soros members are circulating the topic at this phase because they currently have certain disagreements with [PM] Nikol Pashinyan; there is information that they are actively working within the ruling [parliamentary] faction as well.

It is no secret that the so-called Soros members have a considerable involvement in the ruling faction. Now rumors are circulating behind the scenes that they seek to use the topic of Amulsar and unite the MPs interested in this issue in one common "team" and create in the NA [National Assembly] a separate political unit of "their own use" that serves their interests.
