YEREVAN. – The cause of explosion in a bus on Yerevan's Halabyan street that reportedly killed two people and injured seven, will be clear in a couple of hours, chief of Armenian police Vova Gasparyan told reporters.

“It is clear that the blast was not caused by explosion of a gas tank or diesel fuel. It was  a wave explosion, but it is still too early to make any assertions,” Gasparyan said, adding that the blast occurred inside the bus.

According to preliminary reports, two people were killed and seven others were injured in a blast in Armenia’s capital city, Yerevan, on Monday evening.
