Iran needs 20 uranium enrichment sites to meet nuclear fuel demand, the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization Ali-Akbar Salehi told Press TV December 5.

“We are in need of 20 thousands megawatts that means Natanz,” the Press TV website quotes Salehi.

According to him, each nuclear plant will produce 30 tones of fuel a year sufficient for one NPP.

Earlier, Iran informed of intension to construct 10 nuclear sites similar to that of Natanz which is under IAEA’s control.

NEWS.am recalls that on Nov. 27, IAEA board passed a resolution on condemning Iranian nuke program and demanded to shut down the project.
