Fruitless talks on Karabakh conflict settlement make Azerbaijan to call in the alternative solutions, said Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev at Dec. 8 meeting with Commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe General Roger Brady.

Abiyev informed U.S. General that talks held within 15 years under OSCE MG mediation yielded no results so far, Azerbaijani media reports referring to Defense Ministry source.

In the course of the meeting the officials also discussed issues on military cooperation between Azerbaijan and U.S., as well as the situation in the South Caucasus.
